Hello everyone!

Problem: i want to update my Haswell build to Monterey 12.1. Same situation after fresh install and boot from USB drive or after update from Big Sur.

Error after select Install macOS Monterey in Opencore 0.7.6.

Big Sur works without any problem.

yup ... remove HS80211Familly, till now I can't make it worked in monterey

That's the answer. Deleted this kext and install starts without problem. Atheros (WD 4800) didn't work in Monterey?

Atheros cards are not supported in Monterey, they cannot be workarounded like on Big Sur.

Yep. Monterey 12.1 starts after I deleted my wi-fi kext.

Problem solved.

Thanks everyone.

The most likely cause for a Kernel Panic issue occurs in MacOS is faulty software, damaged or incompatible hardware, including external drives attached to the Mac. To fix the issue, try the below steps:

1. Restart your Mac in Safe Mode and check for updates.
2. Uninstall any plug-ins or 3rd party software from manufacturers other than Apple.
3. Disconnect all connected devices.
4. Use Apple diagnostics to diagnose the problem.
5. Do general troubleshooting
6. Reset PRAM/NVRAM settings
7. Reset SMC (System Management Controller) settings
8. Reset the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit)

Hope it will help!
