Rammjet
They both have their hardware listed. lanxed didn't - he edited his posting afterward. after the installation have finish and the pc restarts appears a lot of information on screen just like if I have type -v after that appears a blue screen, and don't happen anything else. the dvd image is one that i find in one post here is the MacOSX_10.4.8DVD AMD SSE3 TEST 1 I saw a note from Myzar that you should be careful not to UNcheck the patches when you select the video option. I don't have the DVD so I can't exactly see the situation on it. Otherwise, try installing once without checking video and see if you get booted. I'm trying to install with hack groups, without ATI support.....with ATI support I'm getting blue screen too.... Edit: It works!!!!!!!.. But otherway, no CI and QE.... To be more specific, all x1xxx kexts are missing, so no support for 1900xtx at all. lanxed
Well I deactivate too the Ati support and its working just fine, but I like to know if I can install my graphic card and the sound, do I need to open a new post to ask that? I have the Realtek Audio ALC882 thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35016-blue-screen/#findComment-249300 Share on other sites
Rammjet
For ALC882 sound, go to the Audio link in my signature. Read the ALC8xx topic for stereo out (no input). If you are running the new 8.8.1 (10.4.8) kernel, then check out the AppleHDA project link near bottom of that topic - they have multichannel and sound in working. Rammjet
How can I know the kernel version? Go to Terminal and type: uname -v If 8.4.1 it is the older (10.4.4) kernel. If 8.8.1, then it is the newer 8.8.1 kernel. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/35016-blue-screen/#findComment-249565 Share on other sites
