Adam Futtiarance Posted June 20, 2021 Share Posted June 20, 2021 Hi, I'm dealing with a strange behaviour with AppleALC kext. After I tried all the layouts-IDs for my Realtek ALC255 codec, I found out that the best one for my Asus X556UA laptop is 27. But if I select my laptop internal mic as audio input, after exactly 31 seconds I can hear my headphones only if I select one channel in the balancing setting. Any suggestions? Allan Posted June 20, 2021 Share Posted June 20, 2021 Recently acidanthera added some new layouts to AppleALC. My Acer Aspire (current Hackintosh) have the same audio codec as you (ALC255).
