guimacdo Posted April 29, 2021 Share Posted April 29, 2021 Hi, I recently installed macOS Catalina (white OpenCore) on my machine, which is one:CPU: AMD A10 7860kMotherboard: Asrock FM2A55M-HD+GPU: I don't have it, I used the integrated APU. The problem is that the audio is not working, I tried with "AppleALC" and it was unsuccessful. I also tried with "VoodooHDA" and it even worked, recognized the audio inputs. However, it has a horrible quality, and besides not working with my HDMI audio, it also bugged browsers to play videos. The page simply breaks and no longer plays the video. Slice Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 About VoodooHDA see its VoodooHDA.kext/Contents/Info.plist and look for InhibitCache. This setting can improve sound on AMD platform. As well check if BusSpeed (FSB) is correct. Else you can get bad sound. The speed shouldn't be integer, it must be real. I can't help you with OpenCore. I can help with Clover. AMD integrated graphics aren't supported on macOS. Audio on AMD APUs is also an issue.
