[SOLVED] Lenovo X1 Extreme on OpenCore unable to get to installer

Opencore allows CPUID spoofing in a small section under config.plist -> Kernel -> Emulate, so Big Sur should now think that my EAX is 0x000806E2 (Extended model 0x8E)
Unfortunately, it doesn't help at all with the problem I'm still experiencing (GPU acceleration making my screen black after verbose, forcing me to use -igfxvesa in order to boot with graphics)

I am having the same problem since I made the mistake of updating from Catalina to Monterrey with my X1 extreme gen1.   @xefyr0 were you ever able to get graphics to work outside of vesa mode (-igfxvesa). I didn't have a proper backup of my Catalina install (I made a sloppy late night decision to respond to the passive agressive red dot on my system preferences... ) so re-install is really my only option if I can't figure out the graphics hack for Monterrey.
