Hi,

I've got a problem with Big Sur installation. There's always a message telling 'You need an internet connection to install MacOS'. Yes, i have an Ethernet connection.

My specs:

-i3-10100,
-MSI B460M-A PRO,
-GOODRAM IRDM X 2x8 GB,
-SSD: GOODRAM S400U,
-HDD: WD Caviar 2x512 GB (turned off while installing)

And EFI: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hTFLWs1ppwOSvMW-k1hcHS-UQPWn81TF?usp=sharing

Sorry for poor English

Remember to complete your signature.

This motherboard has Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit LAN, it must work fine with RealtekRTL8111.kext, I don't see anything wrong in your files.

Sorry for the question: are you sure yo have enabled Ethernet in BIOS config?

My kext is the newest version 2.4.0

@miliuco I haven't got any acces to this setting - I'm trying to install MacOS, but I was trying to change it via shell (doesn't work).

Now I wonna try to install Catalina and (maybe) downgrade OC.

Sorry, I forgot you were installing without access to macOS yet.

And it didn't work. I forgot that Mac is required for this  method.

EDIT: Problem is fixed.

How it's fixed? This is important, so that the rest of us can learn how you did it.

I used other EFI (from github with my modifications) - main difference is ssdt-shut as I think.

Ok. So do yo have Ethernet working?

It would be a good idea to comment something else.  How it has been solved?  To look at the EFI folder.  To know what changes have worked.  This way you can help others with the same motherboard.
