Mainboard equipped with VT1708s audio codec which I do not see in AppleALC supported list. Previously VoodooHDA was used with El Capitan ... Catalina. Adding same or most recent VoodooHDA kext does not resolves the issue. An attempt to boot VoodooHDA kext manually gives an error. Have anybody succeeded to obtain sound in 'Big Sur' on a computer with VT1708S audio codec? osx151212 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
