Naki
See subject above. I want the damned thing to go away. After a medium-time Google search I did, it seems this is fairly hard to do. For my Mac testing work here, I have LOTS of macOS VMs - ranging from the quite old 10.8 Mountain Lion OS to 10.10 Yosemite, then to 10.15 Catalina and now macOS 11.x Big Sur too (NINE in total). Only the VM already on latest Big Sur is the one I want to be on that -- the rest of them I need to ALL remain on the respective older macOS major versions - i.e. 10.8 should stay as 10.8 forever, 10.10 also, Catalina also, and so on. It seems the methods I used to hide Mojave, Catalina updates in the past cannot work anymore as of 2020/2021. Any other way? Please note I still want my macOS Catalina Updates to happen - I do not want to fully disable them, just not get Big Sur offered anymore.
