I have attached my old MacBook Pro HDD which has El Capitan installed as an internal SATA drive in my Hackintosh. I use it for my data and do not boot it as of now

BUT

Can I actually boot in this drive and use El Capitan and the programs using OC 0.6.0?

HOW? Step by step Guide please.

@rajkhand

I moved your topic to the correct section.

I don't think you'll be able to boot El Capitan on a Coffee Lake CPU without using a Fake CPU ID from an older processor (I might be wrong though). You can try using an older processor IDs like SkyLake, Broadwell,  Haswell etc. and see if you can boot your computer from the El Capitan volume with OC.

Try these values under Kernel>Emulate section:

Cpuid1Data: <A9 06 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00>
Cpuid1Mask: <FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00>
