patmck123 Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 dell 790 i3-2120 8gb ram gt710 2gb i think i have tried so many things to get my efi to boot with no success, panic at rtc: single bank, if i change config it panics at apple management , i have tried the ec change still no luck, when it panics i have no usb power, i think i have the proper kexts and patches but still cant boot, can anyone look at my efi and fix the mess that i have created there many thanks in advance EFI.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
patmck123 Posted July 18, 2020 Author Share Posted July 18, 2020 (edited) thanks for the quick reply , i put the config in clover and i still get the same error, am soo confused with it all, any ideas would be helpful, do i need fat64 driver if am using a ssd drive ? i did create a ssdt file, but i have no idea if i did it properly so i didn't use it as i didnt want to cause more issues ***** maybe forget that ssdt comment **** when i try Pike R Alpha's ssdt gen, i get the following (image attached) my i3 i use on mojave is a sandy bridge so i think it its not catalina compatible i get the following error, i did work on 10.15.1 when i first installed it on this dell 790 DT, id that makes sense ??? morpheousman Posted July 23, 2020 Share Posted July 23, 2020 (edited) This is from my 790 with GT710, Catalina 10.15.6 install. Mine has an i7 core. Don't worry about an SSDT, you really shouldn't need one. BTW, I am not sure if it Catalina will support an i3 core, but either way, $15 on eBay for an i5-2400 would be money well spent.
