Hi guys, just installed OSx86 on a mates computer. Theres no great problems with the OS, it runs quickly and very reliably (first delve into OSx86, you guys have done an amazing job, really).

 

However, the graphics aren't that fast. The machine has an AS Rock 945G-Conroe motherboard, 1GB RAM, 200GB Maxtor SATA drive and an ASUS ATI X1600pro card (512 RAM, only 256 detected). I've followed all the steps on the wiki under the 'speedboost' section, as well as the steps that it linked to.

 

So now I'm stumped, any ideas?

did you install Natit-ATI or use the method to get x1600 cards working in OSX?

 

also check in 'about this mac' and 'more info' under 'graphics', if your card is fully working with drivers, you'll get something that looks like this :
