seeker_pl
I experience panic during boot. It happens on almost every laptop start. First boot laptop crash, restart and then boot without problems. Laptop: Dell Latitude 7490 Proc: QuadCore Intel Core i5-8350U Graphic: UHD Graphics 620 Wireless: Dell Wireless 1830 802.11ac BIOS: 1.13.1 Audio: Related ALC256 macOS: 10.15.3 OpenCore: OC 0.5.5 Kexts: Maybe it's related, but I'm not quite sure. I'm not able to get the OpenCore boot menu when I use option/escape key. If I set to show boot menu on every boot in config.plist then I can see the boot list during boot. panic(cpu 4 caller 0xffffff80134652fa): Kernel trap at 0xffffff7f97374977, type 14=page fault, registers: CR0: 0x000000008001003b, CR2: 0x0000000000000000, CR3: 0x0000000021ccf000, CR4: 0x00000000003626e0 RAX: 0xffffff8059164cd8, RBX: 0xffffff80584e0f00, RCX: 0xffffff8059164c80, RDX: 0xffffff8059772000 RSP: 0xffffff83b4dfbe90, RBP: 0xffffff83b4dfbe90, RSI: 0x0000000000000000, RDI: 0x0000000000000000 R8: 0xffffff8013ca4490, R9: 0x0000000000000001, R10: 0x00000000000000c4, R11: 0xffffff8058ef3810 R12: 0xffffff8059164cd0, R13: 0xffffff8059772000, R14: 0xffffff8059772000, R15: 0xffffff8059164c80 RFL: 0x0000000000010246, RIP: 0xffffff7f97374977, CS: 0x0000000000000008, SS: 0x0000000000000000 Fault CR2: 0x0000000000000000, Error code: 0x0000000000000000, Fault CPU: 0x4, PL: 0, VF: 1 Backtrace (CPU 4), Frame : Return Address 0xffffff83b4dfb8f0 : 0xffffff801333bb2b 0xffffff83b4dfb940 : 0xffffff80134734d5 0xffffff83b4dfb980 : 0xffffff8013464f4e 0xffffff83b4dfb9d0 : 0xffffff80132e2a40 0xffffff83b4dfb9f0 : 0xffffff801333b217 0xffffff83b4dfbaf0 : 0xffffff801333b5fb 0xffffff83b4dfbb40 : 0xffffff8013ad2aa9 0xffffff83b4dfbbb0 : 0xffffff80134652fa 0xffffff83b4dfbd30 : 0xffffff8013464ff8 0xffffff83b4dfbd80 : 0xffffff80132e2a40 0xffffff83b4dfbda0 : 0xffffff7f97374977 0xffffff83b4dfbe90 : 0xffffff8013a172e5 0xffffff83b4dfbef0 : 0xffffff8013a1a04b 0xffffff83b4dfbf50 : 0xffffff8013a1c8ad 0xffffff83b4dfbfa0 : 0xffffff80132e213e Kernel Extensions in backtrace: as.acidanthera.voodoo.driver.PS2Controller(2.1)[3080C899-33C9-3589-8DE4-9CDA254B4E84]@0xffffff7f97372000->0xffffff7f97384fff dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily(1.4)[3D78401B-5D2D-33BC-9E41-DD2164EA874D]@0xffffff7f94094000 BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task Mac OS version: Not yet set Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 19.3.0: Thu Jan 9 20:58:23 PST 2020; root:xnu-6153.81.5~1/RELEASE_X86_64 Kernel UUID: A8DDE75C-CD97-3C37-B35D-1070CC50D2CE Kernel slide: 0x0000000013000000 Kernel text base: 0xffffff8013200000 __HIB text base: 0xffffff8013100000 System model name: MacBookPro15,2 (Mac-827FB448E656EC26) System shutdown begun: NO Panic diags file available: NO (0xe00002d8) System uptime in nanoseconds: 1693743688 I added my whole OC folder, maybe it will help. Without AirportBrcmFix boot stop on Apple logo. Update: i forgot to remove AirportBrcmFix entry from config.plist. Without AirportBrcmFix laptop restart on Apple logo. Previously one boot was a failure, but second attempt was successful. Now it restarts few times, before it boot to macOS But you are probably right Harve it can be related to AirportBrcmFix. Any other idea Harve? Edited February 4, 2020 by seeker_pl
