jlynde
It has been several years since I built my last Hackintosh but I am using it to make this post. It is a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK motherboard with Intel Core i7 (Haswell). The last time I used TonyMac X86 #####, etc. and I got most everything to work and have used it for several years (just never applied any updates). I would like to give this another go but build a "Vanilla" one this time. I plan to follow the guide below. Is it a good one or can anyone suggest a better one? I plan to use a new SSD hard drive to install Catalina so I can preserve my existing High Sierra install in case it does not work out I can just put the old hard drive back in until I figure out the problem. Does anyone have a working vanilla setup like this and can you share any hints or tips that might save me some time? Thanks, John
BALDY_MAN
Im using a z97 motherboard. and ruining Catalina. with a 0zmosis bios. I'm sure you could use clover to get up and running with your motherboard. you will need a AMD gpu for Catalina
