Is there a comparable way to do delete like on a PC? delete in os x is like backspace on a PC keyboard - how do you do delete? Also, is there a shortcut to doing home/end? My macbook pro doesn't have these keys. I suppose you'll just have to get used to using the backspace instead. on a MacBook hold the 'fn' button and press backspace, then it works like delete. FN+Backspace = Delete FN+Up = Page Up FN+Down = Page Down FN+Left = Home FN+Right = End And so on, and so forth. Adrian Fogge Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 Yes, Infinite, we know that it is labeled "Delete", but it really is a backspace to the rest of the world... Backspace is delete the previous character, Delete is delete the next character. By default, the Delete key on Macs do the Backspace function unless you press the "FN" key before hand.
