warlord Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 My system is running nearly Perfect under the 8.8.1 Kernel but there are just 3 BIG problems Osx recognizes my E6300 with two cores but just at 1,17 GhZ not at 1,86 GhZ Also when i play World of Warcraft all is running twice as fast Sounds funny but isn't it And the last Problem is that my Watch is running twice as fast I searched in the board and set my FSB on 266 in the com.apple.Boot file thing but it doesn't helps Anyone got the same problem or have a solution for me ? brendankoch Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 You should try using the new Nebuchadnezar (probably spelled that wrong ) Kernel. I had the same problems where setting the fsb still wouldn't help. Once I switched to the new kernel it automatically detected everything - my processor speed showed up correctly and fsb was correct. Just search the forum for it - the thread about it is in the OSX86 Installation section and it is stickied.
