linuxjackie Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 I am 10.4.6 now ,wanna upgrade to 10.4.8 My computer config I tried mifki after reboot ,it said crashed E6600 Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 Kingston 1gb ddr2 Maxtor sata 160gb dvd-rw(ide to usb) winfast 7300gs 256mb so,any suggestion ? chelhydra Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 Daemon's kernel is very good for C2D systems, it's as close to the original kernel as possible. I've never had any crashes etc, even by having every application open (at least 15) and running 5-6 instances of quicktime playing HD content. Don't forget to use system profiler hack and paulicat's AppleSMBios.kext.
