This is to report successful install of Mojave to Dell E6430, with the following steps (for a newbie like me):

0. Installed Mojave at Virtualbox https://techsviewer.com/install-macos-10-14-mojave-virtualbox-windows/

   a. Downloaded Mojave, Clover into VM

   b. Made Bootable Mojave USB drive https://hackintosher.com/guides/how-to-make-a-macos-10-14-mojave-flash-drive-installer/

   c. Used EFI zip from the following guide at step b

    d. As this is a 1600x900 screen model, used https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/9608-solved-latitude-6430u-sierra-1600x900-clover/ at step b

    e. May need to fix virtual box USB mounting issue of "USB device is busy with a previous request"

1. Followed vanilla install procedure at https://hackintosher.com/guides/mac-os-mojave-hackintosh-clover-walkthrough-10-14-install/

   a. BIOS must enable ACHI, otherwise, installer can't find HDD

   b. Used ubuntu live USB drive to format whole HDD to HFS+, otherwise, installer can't find HDD

   c. Used installer Disk Utility to Erase whole HDD, otherwise, installer thinks the HDD can't boot Mojave

Didn't test bluetooth.

Other than it, the laptop GUI hangs after wake up from sleep (though can ssh remote).

This laptop is used as remote development server for VisualStudio+Xaramin. It serves the purpose perfectly.

This is based on slice's work,  I basically edited his DSDT and fix his config files to fix black screen,  sleep/wake issues and hangups.  I have an A23 bios an i7 3540 and a 1600x900 screen.  I am running the Catalina hack at 10.15.4.

hello, have you been able to solve the error that deactivates Optimus in the Bios when rebooting from mac osx?

With my config there is no more deactivating Optimus in the BIOS as it was with older configs.
