Thanks. It's really cool for gaming and video etc.

 

But why do you think that? Is it because I'll find it hard to get the drivers for mobo and cpu etc?

Apple Mac,iMac and Mac Book's don't use AMD processors, so you are going to have to join a community of users that are doing kernel hacking to get it to run on your system. I would see this as more of a fun process for the learning but not a daily driver for an OS. 

 

Best to start in this thread and start reading and decide for you self if the effort and time are worth it

I can wholeheartedly second @Donw35 on that one @goatchild.

Even if you put in the hours required to learn what you’ll need to get that system going, it won’t have been worth it and will most likely be too unstable and have very limited functionality for your needs. 

 

But as Don said, it could be a good learning experience for you, that’s for sure!
