Shaneee
So now we've got Mojave running on AMD the issue I've got is my Wireless. The card is a AR5B91 shown as AR928X in DPCI Manager. I copied the Atheros40 from High Sierra to L/E repaired permissions and rebuilt the caches. Wifi is now detected but nothing loads on it. I've attached some screens of it in the spoiler. Any ideas? The same thing happens when I use a mobile hotspot. I can't even load the router web page. Also used the full kext from 10.13.6 too. I'll try my 1/2 size AR5B93 tonight. It's based on a similar chip (AR9283 vs. AR9281) and carries the same PCI ids. Yeah see my screenshots, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/336858-ar5b91-mojave-help/#findComment-2653417 Share on other sites

Shaneee
@Hervé Sorry to bother you again. Any reason it would only be Chrome that can access the network? Anything else fails. All Apple services, Safari, Discord etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/336858-ar5b91-mojave-help/#findComment-2653856 Share on other sites

I simply installed the attached AirPortAtheros40 kext from my High Sierra partition into /L/E, repaired permissions and rebuilt the cache. AirPortAtheros40.kext.zip No issue at all with Safari, AppStore, iMessage, FaceTime, etc. Still no dice. Must be something missing from the kernel somewhere.
