Tom Snow
I tried what was described above, and none of it worked. I read somewhere else that this was an issue with NVRAM. I reinstalled Clover with EmuVariableUefi-64 and the RC scripts and rebooted...and still About This Mac insists I have an "Nvidia Chip Model 6143 MB." Is there anything left I haven't tried? Different system definition? Clean install? Guest ricoc90
nv_disable disables your GPU all together, so you're booted in Vesa mode hence why it's laggy: no acceleration.
