I'm curious to know if, by disabling that SSDT-1, you no longer have any sensors working at all. Do you use temp or other sensors with FakeSMC? Do they work? So far they seem to be working. Sleep and wake works, lid close and wake works. Also im using virtualSMC and sensors kexts in Clover/Other and they all seem to report correctly. My Battery status is working correctly also. Only thing ive noticed is i no longer have bluetooth. You need to patch Frequency Vectors And use PNLF from Clover (tick Add PNLF) won't give you full range of brightness. In Sierra I have brightness controls but no speedstep working correctly. Lowest frequency is 1.30Ghz. In Mojave it drops to 800Mhz. Im using plugin-type -1 in my config list. But its not registering in Sierra for some reason. Ill look into frequency vectors patching. Is it kext driven? When brightness works OOB, you don't need to put the gradients in a DSDT/SSDT. They're already there under the brightness scope of the IGPU. All you need is the slider bar to activate them. Andres ZeroCross
Good job. I'll try it out.Check Acidanthera's github repository, you can keep your board-id plist in your dsdt / ssdt with CPUFriend.kext. Copy board-id's plist to desktop then modified plist to get 800mhz, then convert it to iasl with ResourceConverter.sh then merge it with your cpu pm code at dsdt / ssdt. You will get low frequency with untouched board-id's plist at S/L/E. My english is not good. Sorry for that Sent from my Mi Note 2 using Tapatalk Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/335802-dell-7559-no-brightnessbacklight-controls/page/2/#findComment-2641653 Share on other sites

Check it again Sorry, the error log that you upload is about BATTERY PATCH. My DSDT is not include Battery patch, it will boot. In Mojave using the MBP 11,1 SMbios i have perfect PM and my cpu idles at 800Mhz. But in Sierra using the 13,3 SmBios it runs at 1300Mhz. I looked into the Frequency Vectors modification script but CPUFriendDataProvider looks like a cleaner alternative.
