FALLOFMAN
I'm pretty sure these parts work in tandem and also to create a hackintosh with, just needed a second opinion? and thoughts on the parts? bocajoe
I did a similar build. You might want to think about the i5-8600k CPU instead of the i5-8500. It's not much more of a price difference but it's faster off the bat plus you would be able to be safely overclock it with the motherboard you're looking at and it would be MUCH faster for a little extra money. As far as a CPU cooler goes for an overclockable CPU, I've used the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO... cheap and keeps it cool. Other than that, the ram you are looking at is 2000MHz speed... the Z370 motherboard can take DDR4-2133 / 2400 / 2666 / 2800 / 3000 / 3200 / 3300 / 3333 / 3400 / 3466 / 3600 / 3666 / 3733 / 3800 / 3866 / 4000 / 4133 If you can find faster ram that stays in your budget that would be better also. Hopefully someone else will chime in as well.
