Hey All,

I was just wondering if it was normal for CPU features not to be displayed after using the 8.8.1 Mifki (Vitaliy) kernel?

Mine just says:

Hardware Overview:

Machine Name: Mac

Machine Model: ACPI

Processor Name: Intel Core Duo

Processor Speed: 1.6 GHz

Number Of Processors: 0

Total Number Of Cores: 1

Memory: 1 GB

Bus Speed: 533 MHz

Sales Order Number:

L2 Cache: 2 MB

Many Thanks.

Bumping this thread because it covers my exact problem:

I see other people running my kernel (Semthex 8.8.1. Beta 9, IIRC. Whatever's on the JaS 10.4.8 disc), and their System Profiler shows all the CPU features. I copied the SPPlatform.reporter file from my old 10.4.6 disc, which did nothing. I remember 10.4.6 used to show this.

So, is CPUID turned off in the kernel itself? And if it is, does this mean NOTHING on the system can pull up these features?
