I can only boot with platformID as 0x12345678 "Invalid of course" But it boots. Everything else seems to work fine. Minus wi-fi do to my Intel chip but the broadcom is in the mail. hamster163
There is no way you can get GPU acceleration to work with an invalid ID, so forget about it. If by "not booting" you meant seeing no video, the problem is likely due to framebuffer not being set up properly. I suggest the following: When diagnosing framebuffer issues, it is convenient to set up screen sharing with another computer. In this way, if you can see macOS desktop from the other computer, it means that your system has booted successfully but without proper video output (i.e., framebuffer issues). FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext (which is somewhat historical) may cause a conflict with IntelGraphicsFixup. See discussions here. Consider removing one of them. Lastly, some people managed to get the same CPU & iGPU to work: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/331006-kaby-lake-r-use-kbl-fb-in-high-sierra/
