SavageAUS
Has anyone ever tried one of these with macOS? https://www.simplecom.com.au/simplecom-nb407-usb-bluetooth-4-0-adapter-wireless-bluetooth-dongle-with-a2dp-edr.html It states it uses broadcom chip so I'm wondering how compatible it would be. Guest ricoc90
Windows is the only OS mentioned as being supported, but I never had issues with any USB Bluetooth dongle in the past. The ones I've had always worked OOB so I guess it'd work with macOS too. That is, basic functionality. Most macOS functions related to Bluetooth are relying on BT 4.0 LE (Handoff and such)
SavageAUS
I finally had time to purchase this today and it works with Rehabman's BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext + BrcmPatchRAM2.kext, without them bluetooth isnt displayed. Not sure if i need both kext yet. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yns6rqzjr43hsu8/Screen Shot 2018-06-25 at 5.35.15 pm.png?dl=0 It show Handoff isnt supported, is there a way to enable it?
