PatS
I installed VMWare on my laptop, and have a 10.4.3 disc (I believe it is one of the JaS disc's or something.. I can't remember, it was so long ago). I created the virtual machine. It has a 15 gig virtual HD, and 512 MB Ram. When I mount the actual dvd-rom drive on my laptop in VMware and try to boot from it, it gets to the Press F8 screen, puts like 4 lines of things it's loading on the screen and then restarts... No error's or anything... It doesn't get to the gray apple screen, and when I use -v, it doesn't have time to show anything... it just restarts the virtual machine... Any ideas as to whats wrong? I would give you the error message it says... except it doesn't say one... There's a small chance something could be wrong with the disc... but I don't think so... But if that is the case, I am getting 10.4.8 right now... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33417-vmware-and-1043-problem/ Share on other sites
free30
mount the disk using demon tools and not with vmware, I think Free30 looks like 10.4.8 will not work as well. PatS
Well I'm using an actual disc, not an image... I don't really know if I want to put daemon tools on my laptop cause I don't really need it that bad. Maybe I'll try that later...
