Yes. The update has 2 stages, you only went through the first stage. After the first stage the system will reboot and then will proceed the initial update process.

Got it updated! I went through the second phase after making that post, and it restarted a few times throughout the process, and the clover entry disappeared on the last boot. I had a feeling it was updated- and voila! she was!

I updated to the latest Clover r4428 and the AFPS.efi that someone posted earlier before selecting the "macOS Install" boot entry just to be safe.

Seems all good here.

Thanks!

I am running 13.4 and got an update notice or a security update (2018-1) and it want complete.

I initiate the update via the App Store/Updater and it downloads and asks for a restart.

I restart and on the way down it "updates system"

At Clover I have 3 volumes Boot from installer, Boot from MacOS and Recovery (names are approximate)

I select boot from installer and it launches the installer which eventually shows screen with the message that the update could not be applied to this Mac because the update resources could not be found.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Frank
