Shingles
Which version can I use to install the easiest? 10.4.4, 10.4.6, 10.4.8? Does anyone have a torrent link for it, whichever link is the fastest? mac.nub
Get a hold of the newest version your system supports/you can get to install, i've had problems installing 10.4.8 on my Dell Inspiron 6400, and for the moment am using 10.4.7, which is working virtually flawlessly, i'm typing this message on it at the moment only thing that doesn't work is Sound and Wireless for me, sound will be sorted soon when my USB Sound Adapter arrives, and to be honest I don't care about wireless not working! Oh and http://www.demonoid.com is your friend :pirate2: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33199-which-version-do-i-need/#findComment-234755 Share on other sites
Shingles
How do I keep XP and Vista? There is no autorun file or setup file in the .iso for 10.4.8. I am kinda confused because the other how-to's are confusing. Can someone tell me how to do it step-by-step while still keeping XP and Vista? Thanks! mac.nub
Shingles, follow the tutorial I made here Then follow the update tutorial I made here. That will get Mac OS X 10.4.8 (Newest stable version) working, plus it won't break your Vista/XP Install. Hope that helps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33199-which-version-do-i-need/#findComment-235307 Share on other sites
