Kext Wizard will not rebuild caches on a USB memory stick, it will work on a USB to Sata hard drive adapter. A USB stick is not capable of running macOS on a device. For a USB installer you don’t need to rebuild caches and repair permissions because the software is not in a final loaded format. For a USB installer don’t worrry about it until it is loaded on the drive disk then you can use kext wizard.

Thanks

Thanks

You can add those kexts in clover USB bootloader by placing them in the Clover/Kexts/Other folder on the USB drive. You can t remove them as suggested in the guide, only add via the USB. There may be a way to disable certain kexts during the install by calling for that in in the disable section of clover configurator app.

I'm trying to created a clover install on USB.

Part of the guide requires transferring kexts to S/L/E on the USB.

However when I select the USB in Kext Wizard S/L/E becomes unavailable.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Thanks.

Hi, mount the EFI partition USB, from CloverConfigurator, and use the Finder to locate S/L/E, and copy Kexts manually, good luck☺
