reonsone Posted November 8, 2017 Share Posted November 8, 2017 I'm trying to created a clover install on USB.Part of the guide requires transferring kexts to S/L/E on the USB.However when I select the USB in Kext Wizard S/L/E becomes unavailable.Can anyone help me solve this problem?Thanks. reonsone Posted November 8, 2017 Author Share Posted November 8, 2017 Kext Wizard will not rebuild caches on a USB memory stick, it will work on a USB to Sata hard drive adapter. A USB stick is not capable of running macOS on a device. For a USB installer you don’t need to rebuild caches and repair permissions because the software is not in a final loaded format. Gigamaxx Posted November 8, 2017 Share Posted November 8, 2017 Thanks You can add those kexts in clover USB bootloader by placing them in the Clover/Kexts/Other folder on the USB drive. You can t remove them as suggested in the guide, only add via the USB.
