Cyberdevs
Anyone can recommand a cheap video card that can handle a little bit of video editing (home video) please. Im on i5-7400 Kabylake with 8GB Ram AMD RX 460 and RX 560 are the cheapest GPUs available specially if you are going to use FinalCut for editing and now you can use them easily with Lilu and WhateverGreen kexts. If you can get your hands on AMD R9 270X or R9 280X they even don't need the Lilu and WhateverGreen kexts. They work 100% OOB with a single display setup. But if you use more than 1 monitor you might need to edit the FrameBuffer connectors patch to activate all the output ports. I recently assembled a PC with an Asus Strix RX 560 GPU and it was performing well considering the price and the fans were working totally good under load and while idle. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/327655-inquiry-for-video-card/#findComment-2502635 Share on other sites
