guiyoforward
Hi there, I am a bit confused by the reports on this forums. I am about to buy a Core (2?) Duo laptop and I am not sure if the 2 processors will be supported well or not... thanks
jtg
No go as of yet. Can be used by disabling 1 core on boot.
guiyoforward
really? no Hackintosh is using the 2 cores with no problem??
zelon
My desktop hackintosh with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 runs both cores without a problem using either of the two kernels (I've tried both). No stuttering, extremely fast (much noticeably faster than my real 2.0ghz core duo Macbook) and activity monitor shows both cores active and working. Cinebench's dual core test shows both cores working perfectly and fast too.
Chrysaor
Its mostly notebook users with Core (2) Duos (Yonah and Merom) who are encountering stuttering issues with both cores enabled.
