haza1608
So, I'm trying to get my Sapphire R9 390 (Non-X) to work with Sierra 10.12.5, but every time I boot with Lilu and WhateverGreen in EFI/kexts/other I get this KP (shown below). I have also attached my clover config.plist. I've only seen 1 other person with this issue and they did not find a fix either. vandroiy2012
I've read that topic and could not find a solution. This is not WhateverGreen problem. This is patched AMD kernel issue. You may ask AMD kernel developer to fix it. Here is information for them http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/325987-whatevergreen-support-topic/?p=2476541 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/326455-cant-get-whatevergreen-to-work/#findComment-2484151 Share on other sites

vandroiy2012
Thank you, do you have any advice whatsoever as others are using the same kernel but not having my issue? Sorry, no advice for AMD hackintosh. Lilu and PlugIns was designed for Intel based PC's with native kernel etc. The possible direction for AMD kernel developers i gave you above. Ask them to fix this this bug because it is not WhateverGreen issue. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/326455-cant-get-whatevergreen-to-work/#findComment-2484160 Share on other sites
Gigamaxx
Thank you, do you have any advice whatsoever as others are using the same kernel but not having my issue? In Sierra 12.5 do you need to use kext modification or info.plist mods or does it work with igpu enabled? If it needs an info.plist edit try that and then it MAY be possible for whatevergreen to work, no guaranties. My RX 480 works on Ryzen in 12.5 with the kexts but also with info.plist edits.
