Konami®
I try to install JAS 10.4.8 DVD SS3 and I can only see the screen of the apple and then stop. nothing happen. I'm wonder if the JAS 10.4.8 support SATA in Hard Disk and DVD format. Thanks
Guest bikedude880
Mash the F8 key when your computer boots until you see the infamous Darwin Prompt. Type in -v to see where it hangs. Post a pic or write down the error here

Detosx
I have had no joy getting Jas 10.4.8 install DVD to see my Sata drive (either a Western Digital or Seagate). I get to disk utilities and go to set the formatting preferences, etc, but neither drive, tried seperately, is visible. Oddly, a Linux SUSE install DVD, from some six months ago, doesn't see the drive either, and nor does a bootable Linux-based partition CD, which prompts me to pick the right driver from a list, but none of the listed ones make it visible. . No such problems with Windows. Suggestions welcome! The motherboard is the Asus P5VD2-MX and I am using the latest bios revision.
