grandosegood Posted August 9, 2017 Share Posted August 9, 2017 Hi everyone, I created the USB according to rampagedev guide, making sure to note the legacy options for X99 (X99-A / USB 3.1) I was able to successfully install Sierra, with the only change I made to the installation config.plist was adding cpus=1. after successfully booting into the OS for the first time, post-install, I then installed clover for legacy, the 6-core legacy Plist, the 6800k ssdt, and the remaining kexts, I rebooted and got stuck at the row of plus signs. What could be some issues causing row of plus signs? I am able to get to clover, select my installation, but keep getting the row of plus signs. grandosegood Posted September 18, 2017 Author Share Posted September 18, 2017 update: the issue was to remake the usb, noting rampagedev's guide, which calls for legacy install. i also used OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi and HFSPlus-64.efi in my clover folder, which can be found on step 1 of his X99 dmg. I removed vboxhfs.efi and left everything else, including the emuvariable that was selected during clover install.
