cyonix Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 hi dudes i have tested my express card for eS-ATA RAID in OSX 10.4.8 mifki kernel and i'm unsuccessful i checked my dev & ven id in windows and than in the kext which u can get from the silicon website (binary), but there is nothing happend, beside the external Icon in the Traybar. When i click on the icon, i can disable the card but nothing else. i try to load the kext (sudo -s; kextload /System/Library/Extensions/Silicon3132...kext) and become output: kext load successfully, but i cant use the card.. maybe i need something like an administration software... can anybody helps me? tomtefar Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 The card I used in that thread is not an onboard, its an PCIe add-in which it clearly says in the title of the thread. I am merely suggesting that you reda it once more, look at the sites link from the post and try to figure out if another pciclass works for your adapter.
