Apple Freak
I was messing around my kext files in extension folders, I open it with TextEdit and the whole .kext files went into a folder type! Soon, my Mac went INSANE. Are there any way I can get it back without reinstall the whole system? I need my Mac really bad

toddicus
Don't worry, it fixed it after a restart...DUH... Sorry same thing happened to me, after I selected to open a .kext with text edit, that's what set it off, crazy. But for me when I restarted, it seemed to operate ok, but the kexts still look like folders. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe somewhere I can trash some finder prefs or something? thanks.
