DemiZen
Hi Guys, I am rack-mounting my GAp75d3 w 3770 on 10.8.5 everything works fine there is no issues. I worry about the cooling since osx is not meant to be rack mounted. i like evo 212 but is tat too tall ill figure out the cooling and replace fans even dremel new ones if necessary. is there any special settings or hacks to keep the rack temp down beside the 3770T processor and better fans is there something i can do on a OSX side? remote.syst3m
It's good to have airflow in/out >> rear/front. Some Rack cases do not have fans in the rear. I do water cooling in a 4U rackmount, EK Blocks, Swiftech CPU/Pump Block. BlackIce Radiator. Temps are very cool, but I take the computer(for work) in very hot outdoor conditions.
