Apple Logo loading bar freezing!

Hi guys,

 

I am using this guide to try and get El Capitan working on my machine:

My specs are:

 

• ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
• Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (LGA775)
• NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 

 

In Clover if I use the below commands:

 

 -v -no_compat_check

It boots to white screen with a colour wheel 

 

-v nv_disable=1  -no_compat_check

boots to a Apple Logo with a loading bar, it gets to about 75% and then the color wheel appears and it seems to freeze. (please see attachment)

 

I have used the same KEXTs and DSDT in the tutorial linked above

I disabled onboard soundcard as recommended by someone on discord

It's always best to not use a DSDT that was not created for your system. Try without dsdt, only essential kexts fakesmc network etc.
