peshkata1
Hi all, This is my first post so please be indulgent I’ve set up a Hackintosh from a Dell Inspiron 3847 Desktop computer, running Sierra 10.12.5 on top of an Intel i5-4460 Haswell with GeFocre 705 GT. I’m using the Nvidia Web Driver. My screen is a Samsung Syncmaster P2270 (don’t know if it’s important though). I’ve made everything work somehow (graphics, audio, ethernet, wifi, …). The problem that I have is that when I turn off the screen manually and then turn it on the system freezes. If I’m watching a video or listening to music I can still hear it but that’s it. Screen’s frozen and I’ve lost keyboard / mouse functionality. The only thing I can do is to manually shut down the computer. What may be the cause? What do I have to look at? Thanks 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/324105-system-freeze-when-turning-screen-off/ Share on other sites
