Yurlamum
Hello Since i had to update Clover for sierra it takes over 1 minute to go from the bios screen to the apple splash logo.around 30 second till "Welcome to clover xxxx" appears and then another 30 seconds or so "scanning for ..." etc. And then around 20 seconds till the apple logo appears.I installed the latest version r4035, i tried the -BiosBlockIO thingie, no difference.I am using legacy clover.I got an intel 7 series and asmedia sata chipset, tried disabling the asmedia, no differnceon an asrock B75 pro 3 mainboard.Help me please.

Thanks for the quick reply. yes i got 2 ssds, the boot ssd is connected to the intel chipset sata 3 port, while the other is connected to the asmedia sata3 port. This sounds very stupid now, but i did not find how i could attach files to my post. No upload option under "my media"

Edit: ok pike script gets downloaded in the ssdtprg.command. I'll do it and report back, if my machine still boots Edit2: getting this error Warning: 'cpu-type' may be set improperly (0x0604 instead of 0x0704) - Clover users should read https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/CPU#cpu_type Error: board-id [Mac-27ADBB7B4CEE8E61] not supported by Ivy Bridge – check SMBIOS data / use the -target option Do you want to continue (y/n)? y patched/ has another file as well: DSDT.aml* ssdt.aml* Thats fine? So whatever wizardry you did with my clover folder it worked. I had a kernel panic the first boot, but now it boots fine and fast thank you! One little thing changed though, my cpu does not clock down while idle, constantly runs in turbo boost now at ~ 3.5ghz instead of clocking down to 1.xGHZ. use smbios ivy bridge iMac13,2 is Ivy i think i used 14.x because Half of my usb ports would not work with 13.x, ill give it a try and report back

Thank you! Sleep does not work, any chance you have any insight in that as well? ioreg is attached Edit: seems attaching did not work that well here is a mega link https://mega.nz/#!a5lWCSCa!VgngkQzhBfwlQYiA2T5LocwSgK8EXIDh_Wx-glpSEvw Edited March 24, 2017 by Yurlamum

Yurlamum
what happens with sleep? use mega for ioreg u use hdmi audio? work native or not? edited the mega link into my last post. I don't use hdmi audio. When i sleep my PC, displays get shut off, for around 30 seconds, fans still running. If i wake it then, everything is fine, about after 30 seconds fans start to spin down, power led starts blinking, indicating sleep. When i wake the PC then, it just reboots.

PMheart
Sleep for less than 30 sec is not really sleeping, in this period the system is basically working the same as normal but with no signal on screen. This is designed to prevent misuses deliberately by Apple. What 3rd-part kexts did you use? And post some logs about your reboot.

Ok. You can try this: 1 - Run the command in Terminal sudo log erase --all This will remove all of your logs, which provides convenience for further debugging. 2 - Restart 3 - Reproduce the problem. (Sleep for a while and let the system reboot unexpectedly.) Edit: The exact logs added. 4 - You may encounter a window which says that something like "You shut down your computer because of a problem." and click either "Cancel" or "Open", then there is one more window shows that "Your computer was restarted because of a problem", and click "Report", after that show the log to me. (May consider copying/pasting in a plain text file.) 5 - Also run this and give the log.txt on your Desktop to me. log show --predicate 'process == "kernel"' --start "`date -v -10M "+%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S"`" > ~/Desktop/log.txt Note: This will dump the last 10 min logs.
