NateS
I have a toshiba satellite p100 centrino duo 2gb ram intel 945 chipset (so google tells me) gefore7900 running osx 10.4.6 update to 10.4.7 SSE3 I have no audio or networking, but at the moment i want to get the audio sorted.. the macbook pro uses the same chipset, so i guess it has the same onboard soundcard? Why is the so much trouble getting audio to work? Any help would be appriciated... thanks

Vitaliy
I used patch available on jas 10.4.7 dvd.. however I don't know if it will work on laptop because sound comes from incorrect jack on desktop and I don't know if laptop has that jack

Wisam
You can find the audio chip ID in Windows Device Manage. Just right click on your audio device and select properties. Spaz tries to plug your audio jack to the line-in or test other jacks. Just like Vitality
