Yeah, why not give it a try, just make a backup

Or, if you want to reassure, check the HCL list on the Wiki

Both images should work fine ; )

what should i backup with? and i looked at the HCL and im on a dell dimension e310/ (AKA) 3100 and its not on the list... i have SSE3 and SSe2 and etc. will that still work?

i think your conf should work, i build mine with intel d915gux mobo and intel celeron D SSE3 (i'm not that wealthy), all sound work without prob, GMA900 work with QE/CI Support up to 1600x1200 (max my monitor can support. never try lan cause i use Netgear WAG311 which need to fix conf. i've using 10.4.8 with 10.4.4 kernel upgraded from 10.4.6 JaS DVD.

Intel® G965 Express Chipset

Intel® 82801HH I/O controller hub (ICH8DH) SATA Controller found in RAID mode

2048 MB DDR2 Dual-Channel

WesternDigital Cavier 250 GB HDD (in Bios: This drive is controlled by system-controller)???

nVidia Geforce 7900GS 256MB

Mainboard: Dell Inc. Modell 0WG855 (Chipset Intel ID29A0, Southbridge Intel ID2812)
