pf4351
I decided to update my hackbook laptop to Sierra, and in my process I ran into a kernel panic because of the El Capitan VoodooPS2Controller.kext. i replaced the one in /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.12 with the new version but forgot to add it to /S/L/E. After the update, I couldn't boot into Sierra because it was trying to load the kext from S/L/E. However, I was being stupid and instead of going into recovery and just copying the new version from EFI to SLE, I deleted the one in EFI and now I can't boot into recovery mode either. Is there a way I can block VoodooPS2Controller from loading until I can successfully replace it with the Sierra version? Allan
Repairing the kexts permissions can help you. But FYI is not necessary use both kexts in S/L/E and Clover/kexts.
