Luminaire
Have you tried pinging, or using a different browser? How do other services (like Chat) work?
sadiekiller
are you using peerguardian? I had major issues with that on my sisters iMac, blocked about half the sites she wanted to visit (mySpace etc.)

sadiekiller
hmm. maybe clear Safari/Firefox/Opera's Cache or, maybe you pissed your ISP off like I did some while ago and they just decided to cut down your internet speeds and block commonly visited websites. Using too much Bit torrent can be a bad thing. they also never told us untill i tried to flash the DSL modems firmware as a last ditch effort and killed the modem. at which point we called them... kevin_4e
I had a ton of problems with peer guardian. I would totally remove it and then try again. I thought I got rid of it but it was still there.

sadiekiller
yea, idk it was just a thought. it took me 2 months to figure that out, so i figured if they had done that i woudl give you a head start. anyway, maybe try just removing peerguardian and try again. it is nice, but it is also only version 1, not 2 liek windows, so its bound to have issues.
