DanD
Apologies if anyone has already had a message from me requesting the above driver, but I cannot locate it from anywhere (OMNI's site is constantly down), and wondered if someone could kindly email it? I'm looking for the patch and any associated readme files, please. I am running 10.4.7 and have an ATI X600 (device ID 3150). I understand from reading all of the forums that this patch is likely to work for me, so I can change the resolution. My EM address is davies.daniel@gmail.com. Thanks in advance. DanD
Thank you to those who sent me the driver. It now works! One quick questions though re. QE/CI - I've read the Callisto FAQ and understand what needs to be done, however I am not sure which ATIRadeonXXXXGA.plugin folder to edit, as none of them correlate to my exact Video Card (I'm using a Radeon X600). Has anyone had any experience trying to do the same thing, and if so, please could you indicate which of the .plugins I should be using? Other than that, my resolution is running at the highest and I'm extremely happy! PS. now this is a really STUPID question, but exactly what will QE/CI do (i.e. what functionality does it bring?). How will I notice the difference? Dan.

phoenix3200
FYI, Adding QE/CI support will make the DVD Player work, Final Cut Pro to work, Quicktime to work...in other words, applications that do video depend on it big time. It will also cause a problem we refer to as mouse tearing because our cards aren't truly fully supported. I was able to get my card to work with full QE/CI. Click on my sig or click here. Just run the install.sh script and everything will work (qe,ci,res.change) when you have this X600 model: http://www.box.net/public/kd5ulo8u6h
