Do all the other iApps (Messages, Facetime, iTunes) work as expected with your LAN-Device connected as en1? Riley Freeman Posted July 19, 2016 Share Posted July 19, 2016 Built-in ethernet shows up as en1 when the driver isn't available or doesn't load when the system is installed. To fix this, I put IONetworkingFamily in my Clover kexts folder alongside the ethernet driver. This way it will driver will load during setup. If you don't do this, then delete NetworkInterfaces.plist and preferences.plist in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and reboot. It will reinitialise the network settings and put ethernet as en0.
