Nope... I guess not, since the Mojave 10.14.0 was working as expected. I will wait for the official release of 10.14.2.

@Andres ZeroCross The PCI-Device buggered me too, but it seems to be coming from the Vega-Card itself:

Thanks for the hint. it also produces smaller .ioreg-Files, which than can be uploaded directly into the thread. al6042-iMac-2.1.ioreg.zip

Nope... it's more about knowing what you want to look for in the ioreg. You can find my ioreg as a ZIP file at https://www.dropbox.com/s/9zvz1fdlvlnkw1q/al6042-iMac.ioreg.zip?dl=0

I would rather ask which entries you want to check or expect.

Interesting... could be that the issue will be resolved with the official Version of 10.14.2. Let's see...

Since your CPU doesn't contain an IPGU and the AMD R9 280X only supports VCE1.0, I guess this is to be expected.

It's called VideoProc -> https://www.winxdvd.com/hd-video-converter-deluxe/ Use "Setting" and "Options" to get the above posted screens.

Hi @Andrey1970 A couple of users recognised that in Mojave 10.14.1 the H.264 support seem to be lost, while using a connectorless IGPU together with an RX or Vega card. That happens also, if the guys are using the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement (AGPD)-KextsToPatch entry instead of WEG (WhateverGreen). Do you know about this issue and would you might be able to help mitigate the situation?

    AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

this depends on your AppleHDA, which seems not to be the original Kext. You will have to get the latest original file end put into /System/Library/Extensions. Afterwards you have to repair the kext permission and recreate the kext cache. After a reboot, everything should be fine again.

@Andrey1970 Sorry, the first screenshot was the skylake box without shikigva=1. The following one is with shikigva=1:

There you see my problem... It's either one or the other.... It would be great to have both up and running. Thank you both for your time and explanations
