I am having a pretty frustrating problem.  I followed this install guide:  http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312373-easy-installation-of-el-capitan-10115-in-5960x-cpu/

My hardware is:

Intel 5820k

Asus X99 Deluxe

32GB Crucial DDR4

3x Samsung 850 1TB SSD

Corsair AX850 PSU

Custom watercooled loop

I was pretty surprised how easily everything installed - had some issues with the Nvidia Web Drivers, but managed to install a AGPM patch that fixed it.  I have full graphics acceleration on all three monitors, full speed ethernet, wifi is working, bluetooth works, etc, etc.  It's truly outstanding - except that I am being plagued with random freezes.

The freezes do not come with a visible kernel panic, though maybe it is logged somewhere?  The mouse and system simply hard  freeze and it requires a hard power off to recover.  These freezes can happen anywhere from 1 minute after booting up to 1 hour, but the probability of freezing within 1 hour is 100%.

I had a suspicion it had something to do with power management.  Intel power gadget shows that I do have speedstep working, as the processor bounces around dynamically.  But it will not flatline under  geekbench at full load, which is a bit frustrating.

I just tried installing nullcpupowermanagement and disable speedstep in bios, but I am not able to force the processor full speed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I am so close to having an outstanding hackintosh!  Are there any logs I can pull and post that would help?

Thanks in advance.
