mathew2005in
I am having a strange issue with NVIDIA Web driver. my machine is 5820k 64GB, GTX 970 graphics with X99-SLI. the issue is I cannot get display on normal led monitor with HDMI connection as after apple logo no display/signal. then I use nv_disable=1 flag then I am able to get screen. The funny part is if I connect this machine through HDMI to TV(I got 1x 1080p TV and 1 x UHD 4k TV) then this machine boot normal and I get desktop!! My boot Arg is : slide=0 -xcpm darkwake=0 npci=0x2000 nvda_drv=1 Any help will be appreciated, Thank you, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312473-weird-issue-with-graphics-some-monitor-works-some-wont/ Share on other sites
Allan
What did you've set in Graphics > Inject > Nvidia? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312473-weird-issue-with-graphics-some-monitor-works-some-wont/#findComment-2242014 Share on other sites
mathew2005in
@Allan Extremely sorry for the late reply as I was out of town for quite while. I have now resolved the issue by changing screen means it works great with HDMI TV screen but not with my LCD screen as it goes blank screen...it is still mystery for me...it is GTX 980ti and not required Nvidia injection instead you have to add nvda_drv=1 boot arg but I tested all injection method too.
