ShredderKing
Hi. I'm having some issues with my PCIe ethernet. I installed applertl8139ethernet.kext using ##### on hackintosh zone yosemite distro. My laptop is dell n5010. This is my kernel panic after i use internet for a couple of minutes. BTW my ethernet used to work Out of the box on mavericks. PS: RehabMan's and lnx2mac's kexts dont work either. spakk
check, if Enoch bootloader is used: ==>/Extra/Extensions and in ==>System/Library/Extensions/ and if Clover is used: ==> EFI/Clover/ .... /kexts/10.11and in ==>System/Library/Extensions/ perhaps you have still uses the previously installed Ethernet drivers "RealtekRTL8111.kext" **never install two drivers for the same hardware, otherwise kernel panic...... if so, then remove.. after removing, repair the permission and renew cache and re-start. Thanks for the quick response. I checked. I didn't have RealtekRTLl8111. Kext. I would really appreciate it if someone told me what's the reason behind my kernel panic and what's the log saying. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312166-need-help-with-applertl8139ethernetkext/#findComment-2237361 Share on other sites
